Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your BelovedText experience. This policy outlines how refunds work for credit purchases.

1. Credit Purchases

BelovedText offers credit packs that can be purchased to unlock premium templates and features on the platform. Credits are digital goods that are delivered instantly to your account upon successful payment.

  • Starter Pack: 15 Credits — ₹49 INR / $1.99 USD
  • Popular Pack: 50 Credits — ₹99 INR / $3.99 USD
  • Best Value Pack: 100 Credits — ₹199 INR / $7.99 USD

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • You purchased credits but they were not added to your account due to a technical error.
  • Your payment was processed but the credits were never delivered.
  • You were charged multiple times for the same transaction (duplicate charges).
  • A technical issue prevented you from using your purchased credits within 24 hours of purchase.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date. Requests made after this period may not be eligible for a refund.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:

  • You have already used a significant portion of the purchased credits.
  • You changed your mind about using the platform or no longer wish to use the credits.
  • Credits were purchased as part of a promotional offer or discount (unless required by law).
  • You encountered difficulty using a feature that is clearly described on the platform.
  • Payment disputes or chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support team.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Your registered email address and user account details.
  • The date and approximate time of the purchase.
  • The payment method used (Razorpay for India, Paddle for international).
  • The transaction or order ID (if available in your payment confirmation).
  • A brief explanation of the reason for the refund request.

5. Processing Time

Once your refund request is received, our team will review it within 3–5 business days. If approved:

  • Indian payments (Razorpay): Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • International payments (Paddle): Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Credit Reversal

If a refund is approved, any credits associated with the refunded purchase will be removed from your account. If you have already spent some or all of those credits, the refund amount may be adjusted accordingly, or the refund may be declined.

7. Failed or Pending Payments

If a payment fails or remains in a pending state and credits were not delivered to your account, no refund is necessary as the transaction was not completed. If your payment method was charged but credits were not delivered, please contact support and we will either deliver the credits or initiate a full refund.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider. Chargebacks can result in additional fees and may affect your ability to make future purchases on the platform. We are committed to resolving any issues directly and fairly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
